Sometimes, however, he may have several pressing high-priority projects on the go when you contact him. That means he may not be able to start on yours right away. It's important that you discuss with him very early in the process what your mutual time constraints may be.

Tim relies heavily on email for routine correspondence. That means that both your organization and he can devote the proper attention to communications according to individual schedules. In most cases Tim will answer your email within 24 hours, and often much faster.

Tim's reliance on email does not mean he can't talk on the phone, or even in person. He prefers to use the phone where it's the most effective, for real-time urgent situations, and for situations where email is just too impersonal.
